Kerry Washington Says Olivia Pope Doesn't Wear Perfume

Kerry Washington holds an umbrella to shield herself from the sun in between filming scenes for Scandal on Wednesday afternoon (August 5) in downtown Los Angeles.

The 38-year-old actress recently revealed that her character Olivia Pope doesn’t wear perfume.

“I tend to use fragrances as a way to access a character, but Olivia doesn’t wear perfume, so I don’t really have one that I wear for most of the year unless I’m going out at night,” she told People.
