Meghan Trainor Takes Best New Artist Win at Grammys 2016

Meghan Trainor can’t contain her tears after winning the Best New Artist honor at the 2016 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Monday (February 15) in Los Angeles.

The 22-year-old musician won the award and accepted the honor from last year’s winner Sam Smith.

Meghan beat out Courtney Barnett, James Bay, Sam Hunt and Tori Kelly.

Earlier in the night, Meghan took the stage for the Lionel Richie tribute.
