Mark Hamill pulled an epic April Fool’s day prank on Star Wars fans on Friday (April 1) claiming that he would reveal a secret about the upcoming film if he got a million followers on Twitter.

Early that morning the 64-year-old tweeted, “Thanks @rianjohnson for letting me reveal 1 SPOILER to try to reach #HAMILLION followers! STAY TUNED! #LeakingLuke”

Fans immediately went into a frenzy as Mark continued the joke and posted a photo of the script, saying, “OK’d release of stunning #Ep8 plot point!”

After a couple hours of teasing fans and retweeting articles about the reveal, Mark finally revealed the truth.

“OK-I FOOLED exactly NO ONE! It was a JOKE, a TRICK, AND a PRANK!#LameGagLuke #JokingJedi #TeasingTrickster #NoLOL,” he wrote.
