Tom Brady & Serena Williams Team Up To Raise Awareness On Youth Sports Funding Crisis!

Tom Brady flashes a big smile as he sits on stage while attending the world film premiere and panel discussion of Keepers of the Game held during the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival at The Conrad Hotel on Tuesday (April 19) in New York City.

The 38-year-old New England Patriots player was joined by Serena Williams, Rob Manfred, Kevin Plank, Tim Finchem, Jon Gruden, Jessica Mendoza, Hannah Storm, Mark King and John Skipper.

The event centered on DICK’S Sporting Goods Foundation and raising awareness for the current youth sports funding crisis.

Keepers of the Game highlights the struggles and perseverance of the Salmon River girl’s high school lacrosse team from the Akwesasne Reservation in upstate New York, the birthplace of lacrosse, as the community wrestles with the sport’s traditional role as a medicine game only played by men versus the opportunities sports can provide the girls.
