Camilla Belle Hosts 'Looking at the Stars' Event in Los Angeles

Camilla Belle co-hosts an event with the Art of Elysium for the new movie Looking at the Stars on Monday (June 6) at the AOE Center in Los Angeles.

The 29-year-old actress executive produced the documentary that follows two dancers from the world’s first and only ballet academy for the blind, located in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

“When I watched Looking at the Stars I felt a very strong, immediate connection to the dancers and to their world, and I felt like I really had to get involved. The film takes place in Sao Paulo, Brazil, which is where my mother is from, and I also danced ballet throughout my childhood, so the film resonated with me on a very personal level,” Camilla said in a statement about her involvement in the movie, which premiered at the LA Film Fest on Saturday.
