Cynthia Erivo & Joshua Henry Perform 'Last Five Years' Live to Help End Gun Violence
Cynthia Erivo belts out a song while performing in the special The Last Five Years benefit concert on Monday (September 12) at The Town Hall in New York City.
The Tony-winning actress was joined by Tony nominee Joshua Henry to perform the Jason Robert Brown musical for one night only to benefit the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence.
The goal of the organization is to cut the amount of deaths from gun violence in half by 2025 and the evening raised approximately $200,000 for the important cause.
Cynthia performed the show on her night off from The Color Purple while Joshua took a break from rehearsals for the Chicago production of Hamilton. He had a 6am flight back to the mid-west the next morning!
