Emma Watson Thinks We Are Closer Than Ever to a Gender Equal World

Emma Watson shares a laugh while on stage at the HeForShe Second Anniversary Reception on Tuesday night (September 20) at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

The 26-year-old actress took to the podium to speak about the organization’s past two years of incredible work.

“Tonight, as well as saying thank you for all that you have done so far, I ask you to recommit yourself to be part of the movement for Gender Equality,” she asked of the audience.

Emma later added, “I feel that we are closer to a gender equal world than we were two years ago…and I know each and every HeForShe had played a role in that.”
