Kate Middleton & Prince William's Canada Visit Leads to $100,000 Donation!
Kate Middleton and Prince William step out at the Cridge Centre for the final day of their Royal Tour of Canada on Saturday (October 1) in Victoria, Canada.
It was announced that day by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau that the Government of Canada will make a $100,000 donation to commemorate the royal visit.
The donation will be split between Prince’s Charities Canada, a charity that promotes education and helps young people reach their full potential, and the Immigrant Services Society of British Columbia to help immigrants achieve success in the country.
“In keeping with tradition, I am honored to mark the visit by The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge with a gift that will help both Indigenous youth as well as newcomers to Canada realize their dreams,” Trudeau said in a statement (via ET Canada). “Canadians have a real affection for the Royal family which was once again very much on display during this tour.”
