Shailene Woodley Arrested During Dakota Access Pipeline Protest

Shailene Woodley was arrested while involved in a peaceful protest for the Dakota Access Pipeline.

The 24-year-old actress was arrested for trespassing in Sioux County, North Dakota on Monday morning (October 10), TMZ reports. About 100 other protesters joined Shailene at a construction site before police came and arrested several people, including Shailene.

The pipeline has caused much controversy as it is set to be built on Standing Rock Sioux land and burial grounds.
