Matt Smith Says He Would Love a Role in the Marvel Universe

Matt Smith and longtime girlfriend Lily James stay comfy in their sweats as they unload their car at JFK Airport on Sunday (October 9) in New York City.

The 33-year-old actor the the 27-year-old actress were headed to catch their flight out of the Big Apple and back home to London, England.

Matt was in NYC to speak at his Doctor Who: Tales from the TARDIS panel during 2016 New York Comic Con, where he admitted that he regrets not doing a full season of Doctor Who With co-star Jenna Coleman.

Also at Comic Con, Matt revealed that he would love to follow in the footsteps of some of his other co-stars and join the Marvel Cinematic Universe (David Tennant took on Netflix’s Jessica Jones, and Karen Gillan stars in the Guardians of the Galaxy).

Asked how he would feel about joining a Marvel project, Matt told the crowd, “The answer is… when will they ask me?”
