Joe Simpson Diagnosed with Prostate Cancer

Jessica and Ashlee Simpson‘s dad Joe Simpson has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, a family rep confirmed to Just Jared.

“He’s feeling great now and is optimistic,” a source told People of the diagnosis. “He’s felt so much love and support from his family and friends.”

Joe, 58, was diagnosed two months ago and had surgery. Joe is already back to work and eating healthier after the successful operation. He is currently in recovery, his rep told the publication.
