Florence Henderson Dead - 'Brady Bunch' Mom Dies at 82
Florence Henderson, the actress who was beloved by audiences as Carol Brady on The Brady Bunch, had sadly died at age 82.
The actress’ manager confirmed to the Associated Press that she died surrounded by family and friends.
Florence got her start performing in musicals and she made her Broadway debut in 1952, a couple years before she originated the title role in the long-running show Fanny. Her biggest role in her career came in 1969 with The Brady Bunch, which lasted until 1974.
Most recently, Florence returned to the spotlight while competing on Dancing With the Stars in 2010 and making guest appearances on shows like 30 Rock, Happily Divorced, and K.C. Undercover. She also starred in this year’s movie Fifty Shades of Black.
