Rihanna Got Eight Grammy Noms, But Fans Are a Little Upset

Rihanna landed eight Grammy nominations this morning, but her fans are upset that she was not recognized in some of the major categories.

The 28-year-old singer received a Record of the Year nomination for her song “Work,” but she was snubbed for Song of the Year and did not received an Album of the Year nomination for Anti.

Rihanna actually still is an Album of the Year nominee for Drake‘s “Views” as a featured artist.

Some fans think that Rihanna didn’t get more nominations so that the Recording Academy could keep Beyonce in the lead with nine nods. One fan posted a theory on Instagram and Ri actually liked it!
