Donald Trump Inauguration 2017: Jackie Evancho to Perform National Anthem

Former America’s Got Talent contestant Jackie Evancho has announced she will perform the National Anthem at Donald Trump‘s inauguration in January.

“I have recently been asked by the president-elect to perform the national anthem for the swearing in ceremony at the inauguration and I am so excited…It’s going to be awesome,” the 16-year-old singer announced on the Today show. “I felt really honored to have the chance to perform for the president again,” she said, referring to when she performed for President Obama at the National Christmas Tree Lighting.

If you didn’t know, Jackie came in second place on America’s Got Talent back in 2010.
