Mindy Kaling On Filming 'Ocean's Eight' In NYC: 'I Have Never Felt So Unfamous In My Life'

Mindy Kaling is currently filming Ocean’s Eight in New York City with her co-stars Rihanna, Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Sarah Paulson, Helena Bonham Carter, and Awkwafina – and she’s never felt so “unfamous” in her life because of it!

“With that group of women, I have never felt so unfamous in my life,” the 37-year-old actress expressed while making an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Wednesday (December 14).

“Like, I thought I was pretty cool. I have my own show. And there, people think I’m Sandra Bullock’s assistant. They’re like, ‘Get out of my way, we need to bring Sandra her Matcha tea.’”

“There was like a sea of paparazzi taking photos and everything like that, and I was feeling kind of feeling cool and famous” Mindy added. “And then Rihanna took a left to her trailer, which was like not in the same direction that me and Anne were going. And the paparazzi left so quickly. It was like a desert.”

Mindy also took part in a comedy sketch with Seth, where they reminisce about a simpler time when Amazon Echo didn’t exist – Watch after the cut!
