Jon Hamm's Hologram Will Make Its Debut at Sundance

Jon Hamm lets out a laugh while speaking on stage at the Cinema Cafe at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival on Saturday (January 21) in Park City, Utah.

The 45-year-old actor was joined by actor Sam Elliott, who was promoting his movie The Hero.

The day before, Jon attended The Hollywood Reporter and Sundance TV’s kickoff party and also J Crew, Vulture, and New York Magazine‘s party to celebrate the movie Person to Person at Rock & Reilly’s. He mingled with Samira Wiley at the latter event.

Jon is at the festival to promote his movie Marjorie Prime, in which he plays a hologram. The hologram will be brought to the festival, where it will debut at the film’s after party on Monday night!

“It is amazing to experience the future in the here and now,” the movie’s producer Uri Singer told THR. “When we first started working on the movie, the script dictated that the holograms would be portrayed as a futuristic reality. Making an actual hologram, not only on film but one that can be experienced with VR/AR, attests to how present the future has become.”
