In true Beyonce fashion, back in 2011, she announced her pregnancy in a surprise way – by showing up to the 2011 VMAs with her baby bump! Beyonce performed at the event that night and famously clutched her bump while belting out “Love On Top.”

Throughout the fall and winter, Bey stepped out in New York City several times for events and work. Blue Ivy was born on January 7, 2012.
