James Corden Speaks to Rumors He's Taking Over Stephen Colbert's Late Night Timeslot

Here’s what the 38-year-old talk show host had to share:

On rumors he’s taking over Stephen Colbert‘s spot: “It just seems sort of silly to me. I really love him. So I always find it slightly embarrassing. I really don’t think there’s any substantial evidence at all. I really don’t think it exists.”

On his late night competition: “Our competition is people choosing to be asleep.”

On how his show will evolve this year: “Visually better. More ambitious. And also sillier. Those three things…I’m always keen to try new things visually, with openings and sketches. I’d like to film the show somewhere else for a week.”
