Get Your First Look at Reese Witherspoon in 'Home Again'

Reese Witherspoon is starring in first-time director Hallie Meyers-Shyer‘s upcoming movie Home Again and the first photos have been released!

The 41-year-old actress stars as a woman who recently separate from her husband (Michael Sheen) and decides to start over by moving back to her hometown of Los Angeles with her two young daughters. During a night out on her 40th birthday, Alice meets three aspiring filmmakers (Pico Alexander, Nat Wolff, and Jon Rudnitsky) who happen to be in need of a place to live. Alice agrees to let the guys stay in her guest house temporarily, but the arrangement ends up unfolding in unexpected ways. Alice’s unlikely new family and new romance comes to a crashing halt when her ex-husband shows up, suitcase in hand.

“I connected to the role on many levels,” Reese told People. “I’ve been a single mom before and I’ve been divorced before. The idea that I could give women, who are at a crossroads in their life, hope was really what drew me to the project.”

Home Again is set to hit theaters on September 8!
