Katharine McPhee Gets Into Character on 'Lost Wife of Robert Durst' Set

Katharine McPhee is hard at work on her upcoming movie The Lost Wife of Robert Durst!

The 33-year-old actress was spotted shooting some new scenes on Tuesday (May 23) in Vancouver, Canada.

The next day, Katharine stayed warm underneath a puffy jacket while taking her two dogs out for a walk between takes.

Katherine will star in the biopic alongside Daniel Gillies, who joined her on set.

The Lost Wife of Robert Durst is based on Matt Birkbeck‘s book “A Deadly Secret: The Bizarre and Chilling Story of Robert Durst.”

Here’s the synopsis: “Young and wide-eyed, Kathie (Katharine) falls in love with charming yet quirky real estate scion Robert Durst (Daniel), only to find their marriage turning stranger, darker and more disturbing as time passes.”

“When Kathie vanishes in 1982, her family and friends are deeply disturbed that her disappearance isn’t taken seriously by police. While Durst is currently in jail awaiting trial for the murder of his close friend, journalist Susan Berman, the questions linger as to what really happened to Kathie.” (via Deadline)
