Samuel L. Jackson to Reprise Role as Nick Fury in 'Captain Marvel'

Samuel L. Jackson is returning to the Marvel Universe and his role as Nick Fury!

The 68-year-old actor has signed on to join the cast of Captain Marvel as the one-eyed spymaster, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The last time fans saw Samuel portray Nick was in Avengers: Age of Ultron back in 2015.

Samuel is joining a cast that already includes Brie Larson, who will be playing Carol Danvers.

Although the plot is not known, the comics follow Carol as she discovers that she has superhuman strength, the power of flight, and the ability to wield concussive force blasts.

Captain Marvel is set for release in March 2019.
