Ryan Phillippe's Leg Injury Will Impact 'Shooter' Production Schedule

Ryan Phillippe suffered a major leg injury over the weekend and it may impact the production schedule for his show Shooter.

The 42-year-old actor broke his leg in an off-set injury during a family outing, which left him in the hospital.

“We are working with our partners at USA and UCP to adjust the production schedule, but first and foremost we are happy to hear that Ryan is doing well and recovering,” a rep for Paramount said in a statement to Deadline.

Shooter is currently in the middle of filming the ninth episode of its 10-episode second season.

While it’s unclear if the show will take a hiatus while Ryan recovers or tweak the script to film around his injury, producers are reportedly confident the season will air as scheduled.
