'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' Almost Has Record Breaking Box Office Weekend!

Weekend box office numbers are coming in and Star Wars: The Last Jedi opened to a huge $220 million in its debut!

This amounts to the second highest opening of all time, just behind Star Wars: The Force Awakens which brought in $248 million in its opening weekend back in 2015.

In addition, the movie made $450 million worldwide, Variety reports.

Animated film Ferdinand also opened this weekend and came in second with $13.3 earned.

Rounding out the top five were Coco, Wonder, and Justice League, which brought in $10 million, $5.4 million, and $4.1 million, respectively.
