Elizabeth Olsen Will Star in a Dramedy Series for Facebook!

Elizabeth Olsen is taking on a new role!

The 28-year-old actress is set to star in a half-hour female-driven dramedy series written and created by Kit Steinkellner, which is being produced for Facebook.

Switched at Birth creator Lizzy Weiss will serve as showrunner. The series has been given a 10-episode order, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The plot is being kept under wraps. The show is part of Facebook’s initiative to offer television-quality projects via its Watch video platform.

“I couldn’t be prouder of the group we have brought together for this show. Kit‘s story has been near and dear to me for years and I can’t wait to share our dark, funny and complicated show with the world, says Elizabeth.
