Andrew Lincoln to Leave 'Walking Dead' After Season 9 (Report)

Andrew Lincoln is reportedly leaving The Walking Dead after the upcoming ninth season.

The 44-year-old actor will only appear in six episodes next season, according to Collider. Lauren Cohan, who recently renegotiated her contract for a bigger payday, also is only appearing in six episodes.

The outlet is also reporting that Norman Reedus will be bumped to leading man status in season nine and he will receive “substantial compensation” to stay on board.
