Mindy Kaling Calls Out Donald Trump's Plan to End Birthright Citizenship

Mindy Kaling is calling out President Donald Trump.

On Tuesday (October 30), Trump stated that he wanted to sign an executive order to end birthright citizenship – or the citizenship of anyone born in the United States regardless of their parents’ immigration status. This caused great backlash from many people, including the Mindy Project star.

“Wait. I was born in the United States to two Indian professionals who later became proud citizens of this country. So… now I would be a citizen of India? My contributions to this country would be as a foreigner with no rights?” Mindy tweeted.
