Actress Cybill Shepherd Says Leslie Moonves Cancelled Her Sit-Com After She Declined His Sexual Advance

Cybill Shepherd has made an allegation against former CBS exec Leslie Moonves, accusing him of cancelling her hit 90s TV show after she wouldn’t accept his sexual advance.

“He was, well he was telling me his wife didn’t turn him on, some mistress didn’t turn him on,” Cybill said about the encounter while making an appearance on SiriusXM’s The Michelle Collins Show. “And … he says, ‘Well, you know, why don’t you let me take you home?’ I said, ‘No, I’ve got a ride’ and I had my car outside with a good friend of mine who is an off-duty LAPD officer.”

She added that “quite shortly after,” the show was cancelled.

Cybill ran from 1995 to 1998 and earned 12 Emmy nominations (and won 3) during its run.

Moonves resigned months ago due to the allegations that came against him.
