Kristen Stewart & Mackenzie Davis to Play a Couple in Upcoming Romantic Comedy!

Kristen Stewart and Mackenzie Davis will play a couple on the brink of getting engaged in an upcoming romantic comedy titled Happiest Season.

The film “centers on a young woman whose plan to propose to her girlfriend while at her family’s annual holiday party is upended when she discovers her partner hasn’t yet come out to her conservative parents,” according to THR.

The outlet reports that the studio has not confirmed the casting yet, but Stewart and Davis are set as the leads.

Mackenzie is best known for her roles in Tully, Blade Runner 2049, and the series Halt and Catch Fire.

Clea Duvall, who starred in Argo and the HBO show Veep, will direct. She co-wrote the film with Mary Holland.
