Maisie Williams Reveals the 'Game of Thrones' Character She Wants to See Win the Iron Throne

Maisie Williams walked the red carpet for the Game of Thrones season eight premiere this week and revealed which character she would choose to rule Westeros if things were up to her.

The 21-year-old actress didn’t hesitate at all when asked which character she thinks deserves to win it all on the HBO hit: Her onscreen sister, played by her real life best friend, Sophie Turner.

“Sansa Stark!” Maisie told Extra at the premiere. “I think she’d be an incredible ruler. And I think that she’s, like, so true and so honest and she’s, like, learned so much and I think that she’d be an incredible ruler of Westeros. And also, like, Sophie’s f–king beautiful.”

Maisie, of course, already knows who actually wins the Iron Throne, but the rest of us will have to wait until the final season premieres on April 14 on HBO.
