Sarah Gadon & Lola Kirke Premiere 'American Woman' at Tribeca Film Festival

Sarah Gadon and Lola Kirke strike a pose on the red carpet while attending the special screening of their film American Woman held at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival at SVA Theater on Sunday (April 28) in New York City.

The 32-year-old actress and Lola, 28, were also joined at the event by their co-stars John Gallagher Jr, Hong Chau and the film’s writer-director Semi Chellas.

Synopsis: Inspired by the headline-dominating kidnapping of heiress Patty Hearst in 1974, this atmospheric drama is a fictionalized re-imagining of her time in hiding, from the perspective of Jenny, a political activist assigned to take care of her.
