Hannah Brown Shares Views on Sex in 'Bachelorette' Promo

The premiere for Hannah Brown‘s season of The Bachelorette just aired and the promo for the upcoming episodes featured some really intense moments.

Among the highlights of the promo was when Hannah opened up about her views on sex after one of the guys clearly said something that truly enraged her.

“I cannot believe you just said that to me,” Hannah says to an unknown guy. “I don’t owe you anything at this point. Do you not understand that?”

In a confessional she added, “You don’t own me. You don’t get to decide what I can and cannot do. Because first of all, you’re not my husband. Even my husband, the person I’m going to be with, is going to allow me to be my own person.”

“I believe that sex was made for a man and a woman in marriage, but I’m having physical relationships and honestly, I have had sex. And Jesus still loves me. How dare I be judged by a man,” she said.

Sex is often a major topic on the Bachelor Nation shows. Last season’s Bachelor, Colton Underwood, was a virgin and that was a storyline the entire season.
