'Stranger Things' Invades 'Fortnite' Ahead of Season 3 Premiere!

Stranger Things is finding some fun ways to promote the show’s upcoming third season – including an invasion of Fortnite!

The Netflix series has introduced portals into the massively popular game as of Wednesday (July 3), just ahead of the show’s Season 3 premiere on Thursday (July 4).

The orange portals inside of Fortnite’s Mega Mall, in the middle of the map, resemble the portals to the Upside Down from the show.

You can also hear the same noises that the characters from the series hear when they start to appear around town. Walking into one transports you to whatever portal it’s connected to inside of the mall.

Back in May, a Scoops Ahoy ice cream shop was added to the Mega Mall – which is the same store that will appear in the upcoming third season of the show.
