NBC & Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks 2019 - Ratings Revealed!

The annual Macy’s Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular aired on Thursday (July 4), which featured a ton of celebrity guests and performers – and now, the ratings are in!

The Fireworks Spectacular special was down from 2018, according to The Hollywood Reporter on Friday (July 5).

In fact, it was the least-watched special since 2015, when July 4 fell on a Saturday. The special averaged 5 million viewers at the time.

Despite the decline, the special was still the top show of the broadcast networks. In addition, the No. 2 program of the night was the replay of the Fireworks Spectacular at 10 p.m.
