Tinashe Reveals She Fired Her Team, Says Former Label "Low-Key Always Sabotaged' Her

Tinashe is getting candid on social media.

The 26-year-old Aquarius singer spoke out about her creative frustrations during a chat with fans on Twitter on Thursday night (July 18).

During the chat, Tinashe revealed she recorded a video for her Joyride song, “Ooh La La,” but was advised not to release it. When asked why, she explained: “I was advised against it because I had just dropped ‘throw a fit’
🙄”

“I made a vid for ooh la la and never dropped it. very me 🙄,” she wrote.

“ha facts,” she wrote when a fan said that “Throw A Fit” “had no support.” She also suggested that she might leak the video one day: “maybe one of these #TINASHETUESDAYS,” she wrote.

When told her team had “worms for brains,” she responded: “im aware thats why they are fired lol.”

She also addressed her former record label, RCA Records.

“Why don’t we chat about how Nightride was R&B perfection and RCA was TRIPPIN’ trippin’ not considering it an album? That project should have won Grammys sis. PLURAL. You did THAT, as always, princess of R&B. 💗,” a fan said to Tinashe.

“They low-key always sabotaged my real art s–t. disappointing, but it made me stronger,” Tinashe responded.
