Natalie Portman Will Play Female Thor in the Upcoming 'Thor: Love and Thunder'!

Natalie Portman will be returning for the upcoming Thor movie!

After skipping out on the third Thor film, Thor: Ragnarok, the 38-year-old actress will be returning as Jane Foster in Thor: Love and Thunder alongside Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson.

The big news was revealed during the 2019 Comic-Con on Saturday (July 20), where director Taika Waititi revealed that the film will be following the direction from Jason Aaron‘s The Mighty Thor comics – which introduced readers to a female Thor.

During the panel, Natalie came out on stage holding a hammer – confirming that she will be the female Thor!

Thor: Love and Thunder will be in theaters on Nov. 5, 2021.
