Harry Connick Jr. is returning to Broadway!

The 51-year-old singer will return for Harry Connick, Jr. – A Celebration of Cole Porter, a limited engagement at Broadway’s Nederlander Theatre beginning in December in celebration of the works of the late composer, as featured on his upcoming album.

His upcoming album, True Love: A Celebration of Cole Porter, will be released in October as his first album on Verve Records.

“I am beyond excited to be returning to the stage to share my interpretation of the work of a true American genius,” Harry said in a statement.

The show will have its world premiere engagement at North Carolina’s Durham Performing Arts Center on September 21 and September 22. Following Broadway, the show will go on a national tour for the 2020-21 season.

It is described as featuring “a modern, multi-media presentation of some of Porter’s most beloved songs in an unprecedented and unique way,” and will include songs like “Anything Goes” and “You Do Something to Me.”

“This is the first time I’ve taken a deep dive into another artist’s repertoire, and Cole Porter was my #1 choice for the project,” he explained.
