Melanie Griffith is opening up about her daughter Dakota Johnson‘s relationship with her boyfriend Chris Martin!

The 62-year-old Lolita actress got candid about the 29-year-old The Peanut Butter Falcon star and the 42-year-old Coldplay singer while speaking to People Now at the Farrah Fawcett Foundation’s Tex-Mex Fiesta ahead of the weekend in Beverly Hills, Calif.

“I love my daughter’s boyfriend,” Melanie said. “I think that they’re an awesome couple.”

Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin first sparked dating rumors in October 2017, while on a date at a sushi restaurant in Los Angeles.
