Jada Pinkett Smith Explains Why She Had an Intervention for Son Jaden

Jada Pinkett Smith had to have an intervention for son Jaden.

The 48-year-old actress says that she and Will were concerned about Jaden‘s eating habits once he decided to go vegan.

“Will and I had a bit of an intervention with Jaden because he’s a vegan now, but we realized he wasn’t getting enough protein. So he was wasting away. He just looked drained, he was just depleted, he wasn’t getting the nutrients,” Jada said on Red Table Talk.

Will added, “He had dark circles under his eyes. There was even a little grayness to his skin. We got really nervous. But you’re definitely looking better now.”

Jaden has since gone vegetarian and is doing much better!
