Ronan Farrow Is Engaged to Writer Jon Lovett

Ronan Farrow has revealed in his new book “Catch and Kill” that he is engaged to boyfriend Jon Lovett.

If you aren’t aware, Jon is a former speechwriter for President Barack Obama. He worked for the president during his first term and moved on to write for the comedy series 1600 Penn and HBO’s The Newsroom. He currently hosts the podcast Pod Save America.

In the book, Ronan revealed that he used a draft of his book as his way to pop the question.

“Later, when I decided some of that reporting would make its way into a book, I’d send him a draft, and put in a question, right on this page: ‘Marriage?’” Ronan wrote (via E! News). “On the moon or even here on earth. He read the draft, and found the proposal here, and said, ‘Sure.’”

Ronan met Jon shortly after he “left his job as a presidential speechwriter.”
