Caitlyn Jenner Had No Family Waiting for Her After Being Eliminated on 'I'm a Celeb'

Caitlyn Jenner is receiving fan sympathy after her elimination from I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! on Friday night (December 6) in Australia.

The 70-year-old retired Olympian and reality TV star was eliminated from the most recent episode, and when she left the jungle, no one was there to greet her afterward.

If you didn’t know, it’s tradition for anyone voted off the television show to be greeted by loved ones upon their exit. Fans noticed, and took to social media to voice their sympathy for the star.

However, she later clarified on Instagram Story that her close friend Sophia Hutchins was there for her after all.

“Just got out of the jungle, and actually getting hair and makeup done, and boy do I need it! I haven’t had it in weeks, but when I came out of the jungle I had a lot of friends there. I had a big surprise when I got to the hotel … Sophia’s here! Yay!” she said on her Story.

Prior to being eliminated, Caitlyn opened up about her strained relationship with this member of the Kardashian family on the show following her transition.
