Jack Black Says His Son Sammy Gave 'Jumanji: The Next Level' A Good Review!
Jack Black stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers on Wednesday (December 11) and dished about his 13-year-old son Sammy reviewing his movie Jumanji: The Next Level!
“I know that they love me underneath their teenage angst. They did have a blast at the premiere [for Jumanji: The Next Level],” the 50-year-old actor told Seth. “My oldest boy, Sammy said ‘I’m going to review this movie’. He reviews a lot of movies and puts it on his Instagram. ‘I’m going to give this one a 8.5′, he said. It’s certified fresh! He gave Joker a 10.”
Jack then talked about letting his son watch Joker: “I know what you’re thinking, how could you let a 13-year-old see Joker. That’s bad parenting,” he said. “I say it was genius. I enjoyed it and my boy loved it. Sometimes I do the wrong thing. Parenting is hard. You’re always wondering if you’re blowing it.”
Jack Black also talked about filming Jumanji: The Next Level, his band Tenacious D, and the news cycle making him depressed.
