Nick Lachey Reveals If He Read Jessica Simpson's Book & If She Gave Him a Heads Up About What She Wrote

Nick Lachey is revealing if Jessica Simpson reached out before printing her book “Open Book,” which hits stores on Tuesday (February 4).

“Well, no, I have not read a single word,” Nick told Us Weekly. “Both of us [including wife Vanessa Lachey] have not read the book, and no, she did not reach out before it was published.”

Stories about Jessica and Nick‘s marriage, which officially ended in 2006, are published in the book. In the book, Jessica revealed how she told Nick she wanted a divorce. Nick actually has his own version of how this happened, which Jessica disputed.
