Margot Robbie Dishes on 'Birds of Prey' Showing a 'Colorful & Loud' Side of Gotham

Margot Robbie keeps things casual in a white tee and jeans while arriving at JFK airport in New York City on Monday (February 3).

Over the weekend, the 29-year-old Birds of Prey star attended the 2020 BAFTAs, where she accepted the Best Supporting Actor honor on co-star Brad Pitt‘s behalf.

Margot just recently participated in a press junket for Birds of Prey, where she opened up about showing the gritty side of Gotham in the movie.

“We’re not in swanky high rises, we are down in the gutters, we’re in the alleyways. It’s colorful, it’s fun, it’s loud,” she shared. “You’re gonna hear barking dogs and traffic and they’re going to be drinking margaritas and going to a club, but then also in this crazy fun house doing a massive fight scene.”

Margot added, “We wanted it to really be poppy and alive and visceral and kind of, you know, savage at times.”
