Doja Cat Reacts to Accusations of YouTube Lightening Her Skin

Doja Cat is responding to accusations that YouTube altered her appearance on the cover of their playlist.

The 24-year-old “Say So” superstar posted a video response to the many comments left under the “#WCE” playlist that were accusing YouTube Music of lightening her natural skin color to look more white.

“Hey, so, if you’re stupid as f–k you probably left a comment under this picture talking about this. Hey, how about I’m half-white, not entirely black? My skin gets very light when I don’t tan. I was staying indoors a lot before that shoot. New f–king subject, dumba–es,” she said on her Instagram Story while scrolling through the comments on her screen.
