Kristin Chenoweth's Friend Did the Sweetest Thing to Lift Her Spirits After a 'Really Hard 12 Days'

Kristin Chenoweth was brought to tears by the sweet gesture her friend Jennifer Aspen did to help lift her spirits during this difficult time.

Earlier this month, Kristin‘s longtime friend John, who was like a brother to her, passed away. She wrote on Instagram, “To John… I met you when I was 17. You’re my brother and I’ll miss you for the rest of my life. Heart broken. I love you, John John 💔 You will be missed.”

In order to adhere to social distancing guidelines, Jennifer stood on the street and held up an “I ❤️ U” sign while Kristin stood on her balcony. The back of the sign appeared to read, “You are going to be okay.”

Kristin shared the video on Instagram and wrote, “Gulp. It has been a really hard 12 days. @jennifercaspen greeted me with this moment ❤️ That’s what friends are for. I am so thankful, lucky, and blessed. 😭💔 I love you.”

Jennifer worked with Kristin on the 2012 series GCB and in last year’s Hallmark movie A Christmas Love Story.
