The reigning family observed a moment of silence for all those who have died from the deadly pandemic.
Early on, Letizia and Felipe were both tested for the coronavirus after she came into contact with someone who had tested positive. They both were negative for the virus.
The King and Queen kept on working from inside their residence during the country’s stay at home orders and together, with the Cortes Generales, have opted to reopen parts of the country again earlier this month.
