Donald Trump Jr. Claims Coronavirus Numbers Are 'Almost Nothing' on Day of Most New Cases in U.S.

Donald Trump Jr. is being called out tonight for the lies he was spewing on Fox News.

During an appearance on Laura Ingraham‘s show on the network, the president’s son claimed that coronavirus numbers are “almost nothing,” even though today was the highest single day of new infections since the pandemic began.

CNN reports that John Hopkins University recorded “85,357 daily new coronavirus cases” in the United States on October 29, the most cases for one day since the pandemic began.

John Hopkins is also reporting that nearly 1,000 people died today from the virus.

“These people are truly morons,” Trump Jr. said about the Democrats during his interview. “I went through the CDC data because I kept hearing about new infections. But I was like, why are they talking about this? Because the number is almost nothing. Because we’ve gotten control of this thing. We understand how it works. They have the therapeutics to be able to deal with this… it’s gone to almost nothing.”

One of Trump Jr.‘s alleged ex-girlfriends made some shocking claims about him and his siblings last week.
