Prince Charles & Duchess Camilla Mark Historic Visit To Berlin For This Occasion
Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall arrive for their historic visit to the Bundestag parliament building in Berlin, Germany on Sunday (November 15).
The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall met with President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, as they observed Germany’s National Day of Mourning that commemorates victims of war and fascism.
Just a few hours earlier, Charles and Camilla attended a wreath-laying ceremony at the Neue Wache Memorial.
This marks the first time that members of the British royal family have attend the event, which marks the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II.
This was also Charles and Camilla‘s first overseas trip together since the start of the pandemic.
Their appearance follows England’s socially distanced ceremony for Remembrance Day, that took place just last week.
If you missed it, Charles, who celebrated his 72nd birthday on Saturday, just gave a rare interview on something you wouldn’t guess. Read it here…
