Kamala Harris' Stepdaughter Ella Emhoff Signs Modeling Contract

Kamala Harris‘ stepdaughter Ella Emhoff is getting into the modeling game.

The 21-year-old Parsons School of Design student, who is currently studying fine arts with a focus on textiles, inked a modeling contract with the prestigious IMG Models, People reported Thursday (January 28).

Ella is the stepdaughter of Vice President Harris and daughter of Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff.

IMG Models represents superstars like Gisele Bündchen, Gigi and Bella Hadid.

“It’s not really about shape, size or gender any more. Ella communicates this moment in time. There’s a cheekiness and a joy she exudes,” said IMG’s Ivan Bart to the New York Times.

According to the New York Times, Ella caught Ivan‘s eye “as soon as she walked in the door” during the presidential primaries, and the two began discussing the idea of joining IMG Models.
