The series finale of WandaVision is now streaming on Disney+ and chances are, you probably missed a nod to Doctor Strange that is featured in the episode.

It was announced a while ago that Wanda Maximoff (aka Scarlet Witch) would be returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the upcoming movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

The second end credits scene in the episode features Wanda reading the Darkhold through astral projecting. There are fan theories that Wanda could be separating her spirit from her body in the same way Doctor Strange does.

During that end credits scene, if you listen closely, you can hear the Doctor Strange theme song music playing. This seemingly confirms the theories that Doctor Strange could be playing a role in what is happening in that moment.

If the upcoming movie follows the comics, Wanda is a key part of the multi-dimensional universe as a Nexus being. Nexus beings serve as a focal point of all reality since they are the same in every parallel universe.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was originally supposed to hit theaters on May 7, 2021, but it was delayed due to the pandemic. The film is now scheduled to be released on March 25, 2022.
